Jim was so excited about the reunion; this site gave him a chance to view everyone's profile and play with some photos, etc. Jim had been the victim of left sided paralysis as the result of a stroke 4 years ago, only a few months after retiring as a commercial airline pilot. Bob Zuur and myself  have been lucky to has his wit, banter, and friendship for that time, even going to Mexico and sailing on my boat. What fond memories, we miss you J Jet. Jim Nordstrom

Just months after Jim's first stroke he came to visit me in Tucson, seeing he could get out on his own and "do this"! When Jim Nordstrom learned of Jim Personett's plan, he too showed up at  my door! I had to promise I would attend this August reunion, he was so excited about going. I will miss my friend. Thanks Jim Nordstrom for posting here too. Bob Zuur

I was surprised to hear about Jim's passing.  We had a few FB exchanges just a short time ago and I was looking forward to seeing him at the reunion.  RIP Jim.

So very sorry to hear of Jim's passing and the timing... I send my condolences to Jim's family and all of his friends.  Each day any of us have is such a blessing.

Audrey and Nick, so wonderful that you were able to attend our reunion and to have the opportunitiy to meet and visit with you.  I am sure that you know that Jim is missed and it is great to know that he had the two of you in his life.
