I didn't know Ron as a close friend even though we went started out in Elementary school at Doyle Park and went right on through high school together. What I do remember is that he was always a real "nice guy" and a quiet type...at least around the girls! He is missed as are our other classmates who have not been as blessed as those of us who are still enjoying this wonderful world.
Ron was, indeed, a "nice guy"....and not just around the girls! He was a friendly, gentle soul. One did not need to be a "close" friend to still be a friend...it was a two-way street with Ron. You could always count on a genuine smile from him. Sad to have lost another one of our classmates...way too early.
Ron was one of our roommates from SRJC transferring to Chico. He was a warm generous person, always had time for you. Hope your life was kind to you as you were kind to us all. RIP
